Cara Menabung Ala Aku

Banyak orang sudah menyadari pentingnya menyisihkan sebagian penghasilan untuk kebutuhan masa depan, baik dengan menabung atau berinvestasi. Namun, dalam praktiknya, tidak semua orang mampu mendisiplinkan diri agar bisa rajin menabung untuk kebutuhan masa depan. Penyebabnya beragam. Ada yang memang karena tingkat kebutuhan terlalu besar dibandingkan tingkat penghasilan. Ada pula yang gagal menabung karena terlalu boros. Bahkan saat penghasilan sudah meningkat, masih saja gagal menabung.

Ada saja pengeluaran yang harus dibayarkan setiap bulannya, di samping biaya-biaya tak terduga. Jika gaji terus-menerus habis, Anda akan berujung pada kemiskinan atau kebangkrutan. Padahal kalau cermat mengontrol dan menyimpan uang, bukan hanya memiliki cadangan atau simpanan saja, tetapi Anda bisa mendapatkan kemudahan di kemudian hari.

Mengetahui bahwa kita perlu berhemat dan menabung uang adalah satu hal, tetapi mewujudkannya membutuhkan upaya ekstra.Lagi pula, gaji atau penghasilan tidak akan secara otomatis pindah ke rekening tabungan atau rekening investasi tanpa kita sendiri yang melakukannya.Hanya Anda yang dapat mengambil langkah-langkah yang diperlukan untuk menyisihkan sebagian uang Anda, yang kita semua tahu bisa sulit pada masa-masa tertentu.

1. Buatlah rencana menabung secara detil

Saat merasa kesulitan menabung, langkah pertama yang harus diambil adalah mencari tahu ke mana perginya uang Anda.

Dengan kata lain, lacak pengeluaran sehingga Anda tahu persis apa yang telah dibeli dan berapa banyak yang dibelanjakan untuk kebutuhan pokok seperti transportasi dan makanan.

Salah satu manfaat mencatat pengeluaran adalah Anda bisa mengevaluasi pos apa saja yang dirasa terlalu boros sehingga setelahnya bisa dilakukan penghematan.

Berapa target tabungan yang ingin Anda capai? Anggaplah saat ini Anda baru di tahap membangun dana darurat. Untuk kalangan lajang, besar dana darurat adalah 3 kali besar pengeluaran rutin. Dengan asumsi pengeluaran bulanan Anda adalah Rp5 juta per bulan, maka dana darurat yang harus Anda kumpulkan adalah Rp15 juta.

2. Bangun sistem otomatis

“Mengatur setoran langsung ke dalam rekening tabungan”

Cara termudah untuk menumbuhkan dana simpanan adalah langsung mentransfer uang ke rekening khusus tabungan atau rekening investasi secara otomatis.

Periksa apakah bank Anda memiliki fasilitas transfer otomatis, sesuatu yang biasanya tersedia.

Dari sana, ketahui berapa banyak uang yang bisa menabung setiap bulan pada hari gajian. Atur agar uang tersebut langsung ditransfer ke rekening khusus tabungan.

Melakukan hal ini dalam jangka panjang akan membawa Anda pada kebiasaan belanja yang lebih baik.

4. Simpan uang receh.

Jangan sepelekan uang receh. Kumpulkan uang receh hasil kembalian ke dalam toples atau celengan yang disediakan khusus.

Meskipun bukan sesuatu yang revolusioner, metode menabung seperti ini tetaplah efektif.

Jika kebanyakan transaksi Anda menggunakan uang tunai, memulai kebiasaan ini akan menjadi lebih mudah.

Pada akhir hari, periksa kantong (atau dompet). Segera masukkan setiap koin receh yang tersisa ke kaleng bekas biskuit atau celengan.

Dengan cara ini, seiring waktu, uang receh akan terkumpul dengan sendirinya. Dan karena tabungan dibangun sedikit demi sedikit maka Anda tidak akan terasa berat saat melakukannya.

5. Potong anggaran makan diluar.

Biaya untuk makan diluar bisa menjadi tak terkendali, dengan sebagian orang menghabiskan ratusan hingga jutaan sekali makan.

Kebiasaan ini akan cepat terakumulasi ketika kita menghitungnya dalam rentang akumulasi satu bulan atau satu tahun.

Ketika mengetahui hal ini, mudah untuk melihat mengapa menabung dapat menjadi masalah.

Makan merupakan kebutuhan pokok, namun pertimbangkan untuk mengurangi frekuensi makan diluar dan lebih banyak bersantap di rumah.

Kemudahan memesan makanan menggunakan aplikasi online juga bisa menimbulkan tantangan tersendiri. Kenyamanan memesan makanan tanpa harus antri bisa menjadi godaan besar.

Padahal, tanpa disadari harga yang harus Anda bayarkan menjadi terlalu tinggi karena harus membayar ongkir dan mark up harga ketika membeli melalui aplikasi.

6. Kunci tabungan

Anda mungkin ingat zaman kecil dulu ketika menabung di celengan ayam menjadi gaya hidup? Menabung hanya bisa berhasil bila dana yang ditabung “terkunci” dan aman dari godaan memakainya untuk konsumsi. Nah, cara ini pun bisa Anda tempuh yaitu dengan mengunci dana yang berhasil Anda sisihkan.

Misalnya, melalui produk deposito bank atau produk tabungan rencana bank. Biar tidak terlalu ribet, Anda bisa memanfaatkan produk deposito online atau tabungan rencana online. Beberapa bank menerima deposito online mulai Rp5 juta saja.

Bagaimana bila nilai tabungan belum sebesar itu? Gampang juga. Kumpulkan saja dulu penghasilan hingga bisa senilai itu. Begitu tercapai Rp5 juta, Anda bisa memindahkannya ke simpanan berjangka.

7. Jadikan aset riil

Banyak orang mengaku terlalu sulit membiarkan uang “menganggur” di rekening. Alhasil, uang yang tersisa itu terus saja digunakan untuk konsumsi. Alhasil, cita-cita menabung pun jadi gagal terus. Anda mungkin mengalami hal seperti ini juga? Saatnya mengubah cara.

Mulai hari ini biasakan mengubah langsung uang yang Anda sisihkan menjadi tabungan tersebut ke dalam bentuk aset riil. Misalnya, emas. Jangan dulu malas membayangkan harus pergi ke toko emas untuk membeli. Mendapatkan kenaikan gaji karena promosi atau bonus ekstra perlu disyukuri. Nah, supaya kenaikan gaji atau pendapatan itu berfaedah, jangan gunakan seluruh selisih kenaikan tersebut sekadar untuk belanja atau konsumsi.

Contohnya begini, gaji Anda sekarang Rp10 juta. Karena kebijakan kantor atau bos yang baik, gaji Anda naik menjadi Rp12 juta mulai tahun depan. Selisih sebesar Rp2 juta itu sebaiknya Anda arahkan untuk mengisi tabungan. Mungkin Anda bertanya-tanya,masak gaji naik, tidak boleh dinikmati?

Jawabannya, boleh saja. Tapi pastikan tetap terarah. Caranya bisa seperti in. Dari selisih kenaikan sebesar Rp2 juta tersebut, keluarkan sebesar minimal sebesar 30% untuk menambah porsi tabungan. Sisanya, bisa Anda gunakan untuk konsumsi.

9. Berhenti berbelanja online.
